Spiritual specialness is from the unconscious arrogance of the confidence incorrect mind which thinks it is in opposition with God. Because we’re yet, we’re actually competitive with everyone all the time till we understand that lesson. All conflict arises from the idea of competition. Religious specialness makes some relationships sacred and others perhaps not as the ego’s agenda is that individuals don’t remember that the purpose provided anything is in your brain from picking with Lord or the ego. To restore our decision creating capacity is the point of the Course.
The ego’s style, which we wrongly believe is the Holy Soul, contains no humility nor dependence on God. Instead, it is the style if you are self-created, i.e., the authority problem. All of us have distress regarding the author of our existence (ego or God) and the huge difference between form (illusion) and content (mind where modification get place). To be miracle-minded, we can not be in conflict on any stage for the right-mind itself is conflict-free. There is a difference between right-miracle-minded and the wonder mind of the ego.
We have number integrity whenever we use religious specialness as we assert we’re more sacred, more picked by Lord than another. This can be a protection against the alternative and we are discussing that issue in larger depth in following article. Being more chosen may be the antithesis of the Course’s a course in miracles.
To carry on that discussion, let’s start with some word symbol definitions. We will look at both the vanity description and the Course’s definition. Just the confidence is completely definable because it is restriction itself. Observed absence through projected types (illusions) leads right to spiritual specialness.
The Ego’s Wonder:
In the book, the word mark description for “miracle” is: “An astonishing or welcome occasion that’s not explicable by organic or clinical regulations and is therefore regarded as being the job of a divine agency.” The meaning for “agency” is, “An firm with several parties.”
This can be a perfect case when two split up parties, the vanity god and their variation of the vengeful God, compete for types within the dualistic dream since the “divine agency.” This is why forms don’t require correction but instead your head that perceives this silliness is needing correction. Asking the vanity lord for magic event (to change a form with a form) distorts prayer and the Boy forgets who He is. The ego becomes the author of the Son’s existence and spiritual specialness takes root whereby the Child who’s choosing the confidence, competes with Lord to create herself particular to have recognized by God. So long as we don’t look at this, we stay a prisoner of the world.
